Baseball- the real reason for Florida

Motorboats & Airboats- Florida

Tim took Tom and I out in a boat on the ocean (Gulf of Mexico) and it was a choppy day. Tim, who is actually a daredevil in disguise, took us on a wild ride. Let's just say that when we got back into the bay I was very relieved.

Alligators- Florida

Tom was so happy when we found gators to wrestle. OK, well, we didn't actually wrestle but it was awesome to be able to hold some of these guys. One even took a leak on Tom- kind of funny. Anyway, the guy helping us said that the small one liked hugs so guess what I got- a hug by an Alligator. Pretty cool!

Sandcastles & Sunsets- Florida

Tom and I loved the beach when we were in Florida. This beach was outside our condo and as you can see it was really big. The sand was white and so soft. Just a 3 minute walk away on our same beach was a sandcastle contest. We weren't able to see them completed but they were awesome from what had been done so far.

September is the birthday month- especially on my side of the family. There are 7 birthdays in September alone. December must be a cold month:) Anyway, Brit's birthday was on the 5th and Tom's was on the 6th. Brit turned the big 18- aah! and Tom says he's still 29. Well, we had a birthday bash at grandma Helen's with the family and Brit had a houseful of friends and food after the Homecoming game to help her celebrate. The house is still recuperating.
